TENGA is a graffiti artist/sculptor based in Tokyo, Japan. He was born in April 1977. He was a Otaku kid who loved insects, Star Wars and animation. He was so good at collecting insects, he even impressed expert collectors in his town. His interest in insects gave way to a passion for graffiti art. He was always thinking about graffiti. He quickly became a well known graffiti artist in his town. After he completing high school, he went to art school to develop his style. This was when he became interested in fine art and sculpture. At the same time, he developed his own unique character-based style. After graduating, he started working in business, but he could not give up his passion for graffiti art, so he quit his job and un-leashed his creativity to the world. Now he travels the globe, creating art and exhibiting his work. His dream is to make friends all over the world through street art.
